Osage Trail

The trail is a scenic and safe connection for trail users traveling north from the existing trail (OSU-Tulsa campus to 56th Street North) to highway 20 in central Skiatook with recreational and fitness opportunities along the way.

The Osage Trail connects and serves several important facilities; seven schools (Cherokee Elementary, Greely Elementary, Sperry Public Schools, Newman Middle, Skiatook High, Marrs Elementary, and Central Elementary), three parks (Vining Park, Taylor County Park and Zink Park), and one airport (Skiatook Airport). All of these facilities are located within one mile of the trail. To assure user safety and comfort, the trail amenities include fencing, bollards, hand rails, benches, picnic tables, trash receptacles, bike racks, signage, drinking fountains, equestrian facilities and parking.
