TULSA COUNTY PARKS GOLF
Tulsa County Golf Courses are situated within Tulsa County to serve the vast majority
of area golfers. Tulsa County Parks Department operates and maintains two (2) major
public golf courses: LaFortune Park in Tulsa and South Lakes in Jenks and (1) Golf
Training Center with a three hole layout golf course at O’Brien Park in northern
Tulsa County. The courses are
open year round, except on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day.
LaFortune Park Golf Course is a championship layout located in the heart of Tulsa,
Oklahoma. Originally built in 1960 the traditional layout has recently gone under
an extensive renovation with rebuilding of greens, tees, bunkers, cart paths and water
hazards. While the routing of the golf course remains original, these modernized
features bring LaFortune Park Golf Course in line with some of the finest municipal golf
courses anywhere. Voted Tulsa’s Best Golf Course and Pro shop by Urban Tulsa
Magazine, 2007.
